I’m a big fan of two things when it comes to cooking family meals: Those things are: a 9×13 casserole dish or my crockpot – I just love a dump and go ANY recipe, don’t you?

One of our family favorites is my Lazy Day Lasagna:

Lazy Day Lasagna Recipe

Break out your 9×13 casserole dish and let me show you how to make it.

Ingredients:

– 1 jar pasta sauce
– 1 bag frozen cheese ravioli
– 1lb ground beef
– 1lb Italian sausage
– 1 bag 6-cheese Italian blend
– 1 Tbsp minced garlic
– 2 chopped bell peppers
– 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Lazy Day Lasagna Recipe Ingredients

Directions:

⦁ Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
⦁ Spray 9×13 casserole dish.
⦁ Brown ground beef and sausage with veggies.
⦁ Add 3/4 pasta sauce to cooked meat mixture, simmer.
⦁ Pour remaining sauce to bottom of dish.
⦁ Layer meat sauce, ravioli and cheese.
⦁ Cover with foil, bake 30 minutes.
⦁ Remove foil, bake 15 more minutes.

So very good and so very easy to throw together.

And that’s what we want right? EASY throw together meals that we’ll feel good about serving our families.

Whether you’re juggling work, errands, or just the chaos of everyday family life (or ALL of it!), the last thing you need is a complicated recipe that’s gonna drain the last remaining energy you might have after a LONG day.

The secret to quick dinners is keeping a few cheap-o versatile ingredients in your pantry, fridge, and freezer. Think pasta, rice, eggs, canned beans, frozen veggies, and your favorite sauces or spices.
