I sure love my sweets. When my sweet tooth starts screaming I gotta find desserts and snacks that are healthy before I break out last year’s Halloween candy haha!
Below are some absolutely delicious desserts, cookies, candies and snacks that all have my two favorite ingredients: peanut butter and CHOCOLATE.
Chocolate Banana Fudge
This is my current go-to low calorie dessert when I just need something sweet and frozen.
Ingredients:
– 1 banana
– 1/2 Cup nonfat Greek yogurt
– 1/4 Cup unsweetened cocoa
Directions:
– Mash the banana and mix with half of yogurt.
– Put into a pan and freeze overnight.
– In the morning, mix cocoa powder with the rest of yogurt, spread on the banana fro-yo, let it freeze again for at least half hour.
– Cut into squares and eat!
(note: eat these fast or keep in the freezer until ready to eat… they melt quickly.)

They’re really yummy, but I REALLY love the combination of chocolate and PEANUT BUTTER.

Low Cal Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies
Oh my, these low calorie cookies are almost sinfully good – hard to believe they’re healthier and lower in calories than they look!
The recipe is SUPER easy and makes about 20 cookies (depending on how big you make them)
Ingredients:
– 1 Cup reduced fat peanut butter
– 1 large egg
– 2-3 TBSP cocoa powder
– 3 TBSP chocolate chips
Directions:
– Preheat oven to 350°F
– Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
– Combine the peanut butter and egg until smooth in a large bowl.
– Mix in the cocoa powder until smooth.
– Add in the chocolate chips.
– Drop by spoonful onto baking sheet.
– Bake for 10 minutes.
– Let cool and enjoy!
