Whether you call these little bites of heaven Roll-Ups or Pinwheels, there is no doubt they are PERFECT to make ahead and TAKE to a game day party, Holiday potluck or even a lunch party at work.
Few ingredients, roll and slice simple, fine to serve at room temperature and CHEAP to make, these are my favorite make ahead pinwheel appetizers I take to all parties and gatherings.

Pinwheel appetizers are probably my favorite large group snack food to make – so simple and they usually have just a few cheap ingredients.
Like these Taco Party Pinwheels:
You only need a few inexpensive ingredients to make them:
to make ground beef tortilla roll ups
Ground beef
Tomato paste
Red enchilada sauce
Flour tortillas
Cream cheese
Sour cream
One pack taco seasoning
Shredded cheddar cheese
Yep, that’s it. You’re basically just making normal taco meat with ground beef, but then rolling that meat up into flour tortillas – then slicing them into individual bites.

Buffalo Chicken Roll-Ups
Made with frozen breaded chicken tenders tossed in hot sauce, then rolled up with a homemade blue cheese dip, diced celery, and crisp lettuce.
Don’t let the term “homemade” fool you into thinking these pinwheel appetizers are hard to make, either!
